Dick and his wife Liz met in 1960 and married in ’67 and have been involved in church planting along with their three children since the early 70’s. Dick used his CPA and Harvard MBA to grow a family business in New Jersey until they were called into full-time ministry. They moved to Philadelphia where they both attended Westminster Seminary and then to Escondido to plant New Life Presbyterian Church – trading in their beloved cheesesteaks for fish tacos. While in California, Dick earned his D. Min from Fuller Seminary. In addition to her seminary degree, Liz earned an M.A. in Psychology.
In 1994, they were called to Redeemer NYC, where Dick served as Executive Pastor and Liz served on staff as a Counselor. In 1999, they left their bagels and returned to fish tacos and started the Harbor Movement in their Downtown San Diego apartment. They are thrilled to be part of the wonderful team of servant leaders at Redeemer San Diego
